Visual identification
The visual identity of Fashion 4.0 refers to the Solone del Mobile Milano, a leading venue promoting the latest trends in design.
Marta Signoria’s illustrations for the Brera Design Week 2025 district were the main inspiration for this project.
Simple geometric shapes emphasizing the urban and human silhouette perfectly matched the design brief.
The primary identifying element emphasizing the importance and influence of fashion is the figure of the models.
In a graphic context, they were to be presented in the form of magazine drawings. Therefore, the first sketches created featured simplified female shapes shown in profile. The overall style and color scheme impart a warm, positive, even tropical character, emphasizing how climate change can be reduced through the recircular fashion promoted as part of the festival. The moodboard presents the Strelitzia reginae, a proud flower native to South Africa. It symbolizes freedom, beauty, happiness, and joy. It is called the “bird of paradise”, hence the comparison to the phoenix, which is a symbol of rebirth of life, as a motif that fits the renewable fashion.
