Duchamp
Porcelain
Set
The Duchamp porcelain set was created during a prototyping class where, with the support of Professor Magdalena Jugo, I completed a course in creating one-piece plaster molds and the basics of casting techniques using foundry porcelain. The Duchamp set consists of a coffee or tea bowl and an incense burner. Each object has a unique color variation achieved through the addition of appropriate pigment. The shape of the set’s solids focuses on the use of arched shapes as a refined detail.
